Is a little false. It will run in the steam version of Mass Effect 2 absolutely fine, with no problems nor risks. There is just no easy 'transfer here' button. I thought there are some files in the Config folder that need to have edits when installing the DLC; which is why a simple copy-paste wouldn't work. Nope, no config edits necessary. Thankfully, it is as easy as that guide indicates!
