Give us a Modmail and suggest new Subreddits to add to the lists! The long awaited Medieval Kingdoms Total War 1212 AD Campaign has finally hit Alpha! Its not available to the public and is currently being run through the ringer by a team of testers, but I was given the opportunity to play it for myself, and after 6 or so hours of 3 separate campaigns, I've been having a blast. Its not remotely finished yet, there are Wonders, faction specific mechanics and scenarios, siege assets for a more Medieval vibe and plenty of other things still being worked on, but the attention to detail, unit models, and variety are really impressive. Some highlights from my sessions so far include starting the campaign with Otto IV as the Holy Roman Empire immediately excommunicated from the Catholic Church, and watching as in the first 5 turns many of my tributaries DoWed me and the Papacy flexing its muscles and working to get many of the major factions of mainland Europe marching on my doorstep.
